TERMS OF SERVICE

By creating an account and using 2K Goat, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using 2K Goat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. ELIGIBILITY

→ You must be at least 13 years old to use 2K Goat.
→ One account per person. Multiple accounts are prohibited.
→ Free accounts may run one build. Subscribers may run up to three, one per position. Each build competes separately and must independently meet the minimum games requirement to qualify for any award. A build's position is fixed when it is created; archived builds are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.

3. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

→ A $10/month subscription is required to qualify for leaderboards and monthly awards.
→ Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled.
→ Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
→ Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 48 hours of a charge.
→ Every 4 successful referrals earn a $10 account credit, applied automatically to your next bill. A referral counts only when the person you referred subscribes.

4. COMMUNITY RULES & FAIR PLAY

→ All submitted screenshots must be from legitimate Rec Center or Pro-Am games.
→ Each screenshot may only be submitted once.
→ Submitting altered or fabricated screenshots results in immediate permanent ban.
→ Park games do not count toward leaderboards or awards.
→ Minimum 15 games per month required to qualify for monthly awards.

5. USER CONTENT

By uploading screenshots and submitting stats, you confirm that the stats accurately reflect your in-game performance and grant 2K Goat a license to display your username, stats, and position publicly.

6. AWARDS & LEADERBOARDS

→ Award decisions are final and at the sole discretion of 2K Goat administrators.
→ We reserve the right to disqualify any player found violating these terms.
→ A season is one NBA 2K release cycle, not a calendar year. Season totals and the Yearly Champion reset when a new NBA 2K launches; the exact start and end dates are published on the Rules page.
→ Uploads are closed between one season's final day and the next season's start date. Games played on the outgoing NBA 2K will not be accepted once that window opens.

7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

→ Submitting false, edited, or fabricated game data
→ Creating multiple accounts
→ Harassing other community members
→ Attempting to exploit or hack the platform
→ Sharing account credentials with others

8. DISCLAIMERS

2K Goat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy of OCR-extracted stats.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2K Goat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notice.
