RULES

ELIGIBILITY & GUIDELINES

SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED

→ A $10/month subscription is required to qualify for leaderboards and monthly awards.
→ Unsubscribed players can still upload games and view stats, but will not appear on competitive leaderboards.
→ 4 referrals = 1 free month. Share your referral code from your profile page.
→ Subscription must be active before the first day of the month to qualify for that month's awards.

GAME MINIMUM

→ Minimum 15 games per month required to qualify for monthly awards (MVP, Offensive POTM, Defensive POTM, First Team All-2K).
→ There is no minimum for yearly leaderboards — all completed games count toward totals.
→ Games are counted when your screenshot is uploaded and verified — not retroactively.

Rec Center

Counts for all leaderboards and awards.

Pro-Am

Counts for all leaderboards and awards.

Park

Does NOT count. Park games are excluded.

ONE BUILD PER ACCOUNT

→ Only one player build per 2K Goat account is permitted.
→ All games must be uploaded from the same position/build throughout the season.
→ Accounts found submitting stats from multiple builds will be disqualified for that month.

MONTHLY AWARDS

MVP of the Month

Awarded to the player with the highest overall performance score across all stats. Scoring weighs points, assists, steals, blocks, wins, and penalizes turnovers, missed shots, and matchup points allowed.

Offensive Player of the Month

Top scorer and playmaker. Primary stats: PPG and APG weighted heavily. FG% is a tiebreaker.

Defensive Player of the Month

Best defensive performer. SPG + BPG combined. Matchup points allowed per game is a tiebreaker (lower is better).

First Team All-2K

Top 5 players by position (PG, SG, SF, PF, C) based on overall hidden score. One per position. Requires 15 game minimum and active subscription.

SEASON RESET

→ The yearly leaderboard resets 1 week before the annual NBA 2K release (typically early September).
→ Monthly leaderboards reset on the 1st of each month at 12:00 AM ET.
→ All-time awards remain permanently in the Awards Hall regardless of resets.

INTEGRITY & FAIR PLAY

→ No stat padding — submitting screenshots from non-competitive lobbies or idle games is prohibited.
→ Duplicate screenshot detection is automatic. Each screenshot can only be submitted once.
→ Admins may request original screenshots for verification at any time.
→ Players found violating integrity rules will be banned from competing for a minimum of 3 months.

Rules are subject to change. Major changes will be announced via the community Discord at least 7 days in advance. The 2K Goat admin team has final say on all award decisions and eligibility questions.
